Campbell School of Innovation — Phase 1A and 1B

Campbell Union Elementary School District

The Campbell School of Innovation is breaking new ground in more ways than one. In this era of increasing school choice, Campbell has remained competitive by instilling variety into its school offerings. In 2016, Aedis was asked to join a broad strategic planning effort to convert Campbell Middle School (grades 6-8) to a K-8 campus. We worked with the school community and an outside strategist to re-imagine the schools program and campus. The school adopted a “Design Thinking” theme (à la the Stanford “d” School) and we have since been working to express that system in the architecture. Forming a strong architectural back drop and grounding the campus into the landscape.
